As you can read at this Mark Finkle’s post, here at Alex Faaborg’s blog or here on Mozilla Labs Blog WebRunner becomes to Prism with fresh new logo and new version (latest WebRunner reached 0.7 version) today I downloaded Prism 0.8 (currently is available only Windows build).
Update:
Here are some good news about Prism (other lists you can find at posts I mentioned above) which I noticed at the first sight:
- new dialog for creating webapplication shortcuts (so you don’t need to create
.webappfile by own hands) - better opening of links
- titles above tags are shown now
To now I founded only one negative thing: in wysiwyg editor in WordPress is not visible the carret and one very minor bug – Prism’s icon is still the same old XulRunner icon.
Update 2:
On my Windows XP is new shortcut-creating feature totally bugged – when I created the first shortcut (to WordPress admin for this blog) was everything all right – but after a half a hour when I tried to start new webapp from start menu again it failed and always were displayed blank Prism dialog for creating new shortcuts… so I ended with new group of .webapp files again
