On AMO I’ve just uploaded version 0.3. This version implements some feauters requested by many users:
- shortcut key for adding new notes (
Ctrl+Shift+n) - to single message can be attached more notes
- notes can be sended with message as an attachments
- user can change font family and size in the note editormessage header overlay redesigned
- added de_DE locales – this translation was created by Martin Giger and really thank to him for his work
Here are few screenshots with new features:

I installed your addon in TB 3.01 but for my surprise a note added to an emai is seen in any other emails too. My request is to add a note to a single e-mail. What is the sense to make a note for any mails? Or is this just a bug?

Hi,
this seems pretty strange – no others report such a bug and I also didn’t noticed something like this. Can you send me some more details? Steps to reproduce, screenshot of error console with listed errors or list of others addons you have installed, is it Windows or Linux?
Would be probably better if you send me this details directly on my email.
Thanks,
Ondrej Donek

Thank you very much for this addon for Tb. but cab I ask you about some help – I can’t save any Note with no target
when I add a new note without target and click ‘save’ it doesn’t save the note and don’t show them. Is it possible to create a note that is not associated with any email and save/show in list of notes?

Thank you for your quick answer and for work ! Realy Great news.
and some minor bug for fix – if note text is too long, text shows in a single line (without transfering to another line) and becomes unreadable couse hiding behind the screen/notes.
ps – of course manually pressing enter fix this problem

Hi,
– so please be patient
with me.
for the too long text – I’m currently working on functionality that user can choose if he wants plain editor (as is now) or WYSIWYG and also I’m currently finished completely new re-implementation of tabs used in tbNotes so user will can choose if he still want to use standalone dialog or normal Thunderbird tab for editing/adding notes and I’ll add also text wrapping so it will resolve your problem.
This new version (0.4) will be done in a several days as I hope
